Poker Hold’em

Objective of the game
Your goal is to make the best five-card hand possible using:- Your two private cards (only you can see them).
- The five community cards that are placed face up on the table.
Hand Rankings (from strongest to weakest)
- Royal Flush (Straight Flush, but with the Ace)
- Straight Flush (five consecutive cards of the same suit)
- Poker: four of a kind (four cards of the same rank)
- Full House (Pair and Three of a Kind)
- Flush (five cards of the same suit)
- Straight (five consecutive cards)
- Three of a kind (three cards of the same rank)
- Two pairs
- Pair
- High card (if no one has a better hand, the highest card wins)
How to play
- Before the game (Blinds)
- The player to the left of the dealer makes a mandatory bet called the “small blind.”
- The next player makes a larger mandatory bet called the “big blind” (twice the small blind).
- These bets start the game and create a pot to win.
- Dealing cards
- Each player receives 2 private cards face down (only you can see them).
- Preflop (first betting round)
- Fold: leave the round if you don’t like your cards.
- Call: bet the same as the big blind to stay in the game.
- Raise: increase the bet to add more money to the pot.
- Flop (first 3 community cards)
- The dealer places 3 community cards face up on the table.
- Players now use their 2 private cards and 3 community cards to think of their best possible hand.
- Another round of betting takes place.
- Turn (4th community card)
- A 4th community card is added to the table.
- Another round of betting takes place.
- River (5th community card)
- The 5th (final community card) is revealed.
- Players now have all 7 cards (2 private cards + 5 community cards) to form their best 5-card hand.
- The final round of betting takes place.
- Show down
- If two or more players are still in the game, they show their cards.
- The player with the best 5-card hand wins the pot.
- If everyone else folds before the Show down, the last player standing wins the pot without showing their cards.
